Environment
Environmental projects contribute to the protection and improvement of environmental conditions and environmental health in the community. Many projects focus on mitigating pollution through the clean up of wildcat dumps and establishment of appropriate sites and facilities for solid waste and sewage management. Other projects focus on conservation and preserving natural resources through actions such as reforestation, erosion control, and the protection of streams and water sources. Environmental education and advocacy programs are also supported, as well as the development of local environmental action plans.
