Renovation of Primary School

Problem

The building of Petar Kocic Elementary School was dilapidated. Improper hydro-insulation damaged the facilities. Window frames were rotten so that windows could not seal properly, which resulted in loss of heating energy. Also the floors in the classrooms were very old and damaged.

Solution

Renovation works included replacing windows and doors; repairing the floors in all the classrooms by sanding and varnishing them; and painting the walls in the new building.

Impact

Children and teachers now enjoy improved conditions for regular classes and after-school activities. Also, heating costs have been reduced.
