Income generating projects support activities that develop household incomes -- particularly in agribusiness, small-scale industry, and local trade or service activities. Projects take many forms, including the following: helping organize new agricultural cooperatives and associations; providing business advisory services through local organizations; strengthening the capacity of SME and other business associations to provide services to their members and advocate for their interests; and assisting with access to credit. Income generation projects include facilitating citizen participation in the development of municipal strategies and plans to attract investment and promote public-private partnerships.
