Problem

Druga MZ vicinity, an urban part of central Vrbas, lacked satisfactory outdoor play areas for its 2 elementary schools, 1 secondary school and 2 kindergartens. As a result, children from age of 3 to 12 did not have a public park for recreation, forcing parents to take their children out to asphalted areas or walk a formidable distance in order to take their children to an area where they can play.

Playgrounds were installed with standard equipment in Vasilj Koprivice, Save Kovacevica, and Gustava Krkleca blocks.

Uticaj

Providing these schools with equipped playgrounds gives approximately 2,753 children a safe and enjoyable place for outdoor recreation, and also provides their parents with a more convenient location for accompanying them.
